President of South Ossetia Alan Gagloev took the initiative to create a public organization for participants in the Special Military Operation and their families.
The head of state stated this on Monday at the meeting with the heads of power ministries and departments, the presidential press service reports.
“In February, it will be exactly one year since the start of the special military operation in Ukraine. Fighters from South Ossetia have been taking an active part in it since the first days. Our compatriots systematically collect humanitarian aid and send it to the front line of our fighters, but they face certain problems in delivering it to the addressees, since the system is not well-established. I came up with an initiative to create a public organization for NWO participants and their families, which will deal with all pressing issues, including the collection and sending of the necessary humanitarian aid,” said Gagloev.
The head of state noted that support would be provided to both participants of the Special Military Operation and their families.
“We all know that a certain range of problems accumulated that need to be addressed systematically. Unfortunately, we have losses among the participants of the special operation. Their families need help. To do this, first of all, it is necessary to create a database, keep statistics and monitor the situation so that support is carried out systematically and targeted,” he said.
President instructed to prepare proposals on this issue and send them to the Defense Ministry of the Republic within a week.
