A serviceman from South Ossetia, Marat Dzhagaev, has been on the front lines since the beginning of Russia's special military operation in Ukraine, protecting civilians in the Donbass. He told the Res news agency that many guys from Ossetia were taking part in the special operation, showing heroism and solidarity.
“Many thanks to all the Ossetian people for their support and assistance to the fighters on the front line,” Dzhagaev said in a telephone conversation.
The fighter has emphasized that the most pleasant thing for a year of being in the special operation zone, is a week-long vacation, arrival at home and meeting with relatives.
“I'm sorry, it's time for me to run, there is a lot of work. I don't know when it will be possible to get in touch. I will say one thing, we will definitely win, and this will be a sacred victory. And God willing, we will return home safe and sound,” Dzhagaev said.
