The authorities of South Ossetia expelled from the Republic two citizens of Georgia who had illegally violated the regime of the state border, the State Security Committee of the Republic of South Ossetia reports on Wednesday.
The KGB reported that residents of the village of Akhalubani, Gori Municipality of Georgia, Psitidze Tamaz Iraklievich, born in 1958, and Petriashvili Zurab Shalvovich, born in 1991, had been detained by officers of the South Ossetian border authorities on August 21 in the vicinity of the village of Adzysar in the Tskhinval district of South Ossetia.
In accordance with the law of the Republic of South Ossetia on administrative responsibility for violations in the field of protecting the state border, violators were fined and expelled on Wednesday from the Republic, the Committee reported.
