In the capital of South Ossetia on Friday, following the 22nd meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission on Socio-Economic Cooperation between South Ossetia and the Russian Federation, a protocol signing ceremony took place.
The document was signed by Prime Minister of South Ossetia Konstantin Dzhussoev and Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Alexander Novak.
During today’s meeting, the parties discussed the provision of financial assistance by the Russian Federation to South Ossetia in 2023 for the purpose of its socio-economic development, including the implementation of agreements concluded within the framework of the development of the Treaty on Alliance and Integration, the state program “Socio-economic Development of the Republic” South Ossetia for 2022-2025,” an action plan to optimize the energy supply of the Republic of South Ossetia, previous investment programs, as well as customs interaction between the two countries.
