A meeting was held at the Embassy of South Ossetia between Ambassador of the Republic Znaur Gassiev and Ambassador of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela to Russia Jesus Rafael Salazar Velazquez, the press service of the diplomatic department reports.
“During the meeting, which took place in an atmosphere of trust, the possibility of the meeting between President Alan Gagloev and Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro has been discussed, as well as the meeting of deputies of Parliament of South Ossetia and Parliament of the Republic of Venezuela within the framework of the Anti-Colonial Forum, which will be held on February 15-17 in Kazan under the auspices of "United Russia" party," the statement of the press service reads.
Jesus Velazquez thanked Znaur Gassiev for the warm welcome and conveyed to the people and President Alan Gagloev on behalf of President Nicolas Maduro his most sincere wishes for well-being and prosperity.
Znaur Gassiev, in turn, invited the head of the Venezuelan Embassy to South Ossetia on a friendly visit in the very near future.
