During the fateful days for South Ossetia, the people of the Chechen Republic were nearby, helping to defend the independence of the Republic, President of South Ossetia Alan Gagloev has noted during the press conference.
On Saturday, a delegation from Chechnya arrived in Tskhinval and, on behalf of the head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, donated ten UAZ-Patriot cars to the Republic. Financial assistance was also provided from the Regional Public Fund named after the Hero of Russia Akhmat-Hadji Kadyrov to equip the law enforcement officers with complete sets of service uniforms
President of South Ossetia Alan Gagloev has emphasized that at his first meeting with Ramzan Kadyrov, he developed sincere brotherly relations with him.
“A few days ago Ramzan Akhmatovich called me like a brother and congratulated me on my birthday. We discussed the processes that are currently taking place in the fraternal Chechen Republic and here, in South Ossetia, and also discussed the generally difficult situation. It was indicated that we were closely monitoring all the processes taking place in Chechnya, and together with them we rejoice at their achievements,” the head of state said.
According to Gagloev, “today our brothers have come with a noble mission - to support South Ossetia.”
“Even on the fateful days for the people of South Ossetia, our Chechen brothers were standing next to us, defending our independence with us. Today, in the independent Republic, we are receiving assistance from the fraternal Republic. People of South Ossetia are always glad to see you,” Alan Gagloev has emphasized.
The President wished the people of Chechnya good health and prosperity to the fraternal Republic.
