Ministries of Labor and Social Development and Defense of South Ossetia are developing the agreement that will make it possible to extend social support measures to the South Ossetian fighters in the special military operation zone on an equal basis with other participants in the special operation, Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Budget and Taxes Elena Dzhioeva said at the press conference in Tskhinval.
The issue was discussed at the regular meeting of the Commission on cooperation between the Parliament of the Republic of South Ossetia and the Federation Council of Russia in Moscow on April 18.
“This agreement will allow our fighters participating in the special military operation, on an equal basis with other participants in the special military operation, to receive all social support measures. The agreement, I think, will soon be ready, and we will send it to the Federation Council for approval,” Dzhioeva said.
She has noted that the Republic's Defense Ministry already has the data on all citizens of South Ossetia participating in the special military operation.
