The Zar tragedy shocked the whole world, the head of North Ossetia Sergei Menyailo has written in his telegram channel.
He has noted that May 20 is a tragic date in the history of the Ossetian people.
“On this day in 1992, the Georgian armed formations mercilessly shot the defenseless old people, women and children, who were forced to flee war, violence and cruelty,” Menyailo has reminded.
The head of North Ossetia - Alania has emphasized that 32 years have passed since this bloody date, but these terrible events remain the unhealed wound, the pain that cannot be forgotten.
