The South Ossetian delegation arrived on a working visit to Nicaragua to participate in ceremonial events dedicated to the 45th anniversary of the Sandinista Revolution.
The delegation is headed by Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic, Akhsar Dzhioev, and has included Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of South Ossetia to Nicaragua, Narim Kozaev.
According to the press service of the South Ossetian Foreign Ministry, as part of the visit to Managua, a meeting with Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Nicaragua Alexander Khokholikov took place at the residence of the head of the Russian diplomatic mission.
A large number of distinguished foreign guests and delegations are expected to arrive in Managua for the anniversary celebrations on July 19.
The celebration of the anniversary of the Sandinista revolution has very important historical and political significance for the people of Nicaragua, the South Ossetian Foreign Ministry has emphasized.
