South Ossetian Foreign Minister Akhsar Dzhioev met with the Nicaraguan Foreign Minister Denis Moncada Colindres. The meeting took place on July 20 as part of the Minister’s working visit to Nicaragua.
“During the conversation, the heads of the foreign affairs departments discussed issues on the bilateral agenda in the context of further strengthening the South Ossetian-Nicaraguan cooperation, including through diplomatic departments, and also exchanged views on global and regional security, taking into account the current international situation, and noted with satisfaction the similarity of approaches of South Ossetia and Nicaragua to the main problems of our time,” the press service of the South Ossetian Foreign Ministry reports .
Ambassador of South Ossetia to Nicaragua Narim Kozaev has also taken part in the meeting.
At the end of the meeting, the parties exchanged memorable gifts.
