South Ossetian President Alan Gagloev thanked Russian President Vladimir Putin for the opportunity to restore the monuments to the soldiers of the Great Patriotic War in the Republic with the help of the Presidential Grants Fund.
“I want to thank you for your decision. On your instructions, through the Presidential Grants Fund, we have given the opportunity to restore the monuments to the soldiers of the Great Patriotic War in schools and villages. This is valuable for us, very important. Almost all generations are involved, from first-graders to the elderly,” Gagloev said at the meeting with Putin in the Kremlin.
He has emphasized that the Republic is carefully preserving history and will be instilling this in the younger generation.
