Representatives of the Embassy of South Ossetia in Russia became the owners of gold and silver medals at the XXV Summer Diplomatic Games. The team dedicated the victory to the 16th anniversary of the recognition of the Republic of South Ossetia by Russia. This was reported by the press service of the Embassy.
The Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov in his welcoming speech congratulated the participants and guests of the XXV Summer Diplomatic Games and noted that the games made a significant contribution to the popularization of sports and a healthy lifestyle, the consolidation of the Moscow diplomatic corps, and the strengthening of friendship and trust between representatives of different peoples.
The sports festival was attended by heads and employees of diplomatic and consular missions accredited in the Russian Federation, and members of their families.
The Famous Russian athletes – Olympic champions – acted as judges.
