"Boris Godunov" performed by the South Ossetian artists has won the Nizhny Novgorod audience

The troupe of the State Drama Theater of South Ossetia presented one of the largest performances at the festival of Russian foreign theaters "Theater Autumn", staged based on the story by Alexander Sergeevich Pushkin "Boris Godunov", the press service of the Temple of Melpomene reports.

"The new vision of Pushkin's story by director Tamerlan Dzudtsov simply delighted the audience. The audience thanked for the pleasure received from the performance with thunderous applause.

The performance also received high praise from festival critics," the press service has noted.

The festival in Nizhny Novgorod is being held from September 20-26. It united the Russian-language theaters from different countries and was dedicated to the 225th anniversary of the birth of Alexander Pushkin.

The main program of the event has included performances based on the works of the Great Russian poet, which are presented by theater groups from Russia, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Tatarstan, Uzbekistan and South Ossetia.
