A book about the Georgian-Ossetian conflict was presented in Tskhinval

A book by Pavel Dzhioev, “In the War… Informational,” dedicated to the information aspect of the Georgian-Ossetian conflict, was presented in Tskhinval.

The author, member of the USSR Union of Journalists deputy of the Supreme Council of South Ossetia of the first convocation, Pavel Dzhioev, has emphasized that the materials collected, which were not originally intended for the book, have become relevant in connection with the information war unleashed by Georgia.

“The collection has included my articles published in the period from 1990 to 1995, as well as the works by the Russian publicists and representatives of the Ossetian intelligentsia,” he has clarified.

Deputy Chairperson of the Information and Press Committee Maya Kharebova highly praised the publication, noting the unanimous decision of the publishing commission to publish the book.

She also emphasized the importance of attracting the authors from different districts of the Republic, citing the recent publication of Indira Tedeeva's book "The Song of Kvaisa "as an example.

The book was published in a print run of 200 copies.
