For today (October,1) 27 initiative groups and two political parties nominating the candidates for the Presidency of the RSO on November, 13, have addressed to the Central Election Committee of South OssetiaThe Central Election Committee has registered two candidates for the Presidency: Alan Kochiev - a trainer of the weightlifting juvenile sports school, Vladimir Kelekhsaev -the deputy of the Parliament of the RSO of the III-d and the IV-th convocations and Vadim Tskhovrebov (director of the South Ossetian enterprise of bakery products).

The President of the Republic of South Ossetia Eduard Kokoity has accepted the offer to head the public organization «National Unity». The head of the state has declared about his consent at the session of the organization being held on September, 25 in Tskhinval. It should be reminded that earlier the non-governmental foundation "Patriot" has announced its integration with the public organization «National Unity» and has addressed to Eduard Kokoity with the request to head this new public association. «I have accepted the offer to head the public organization" National Unity", as I understand that we should work and struggle together to defend the rights of our military men, law enforcement officers and members of their families», - the President has declared. He has reminded about the defenders of South Ossetia in 1989-1992 left to the mercy of fate,facing their problems. «It`s not the right way.

The Russian delegation led by the head of the Presidential Administration of Russia Sergey Naryshkin has arrived in Tskhinval. The delegation has been received by the President of South Ossetia Eduard Kokoity. During the meeting the President has thanked the visitors for the accepted invitation to visit South Ossetia in the important holiday – the Republic Day.

Participation of South Ossetia in the X-th International investment forum "Sochi-2011" is of great importance for further socio-economic development of the Republic. As the President of the RSO Eduard Kokoity has informed the correspondent of the news agency "RES" at the forum "Sochi-2011"«such actions are very important, as they allow to exchange experience, to find new ways of development, to solve socio- economic problems, to build new bridges in further cooperation of South Ossetia and Russia».

Today the delegation of South Ossetia has arrived in Sochi for participation in the X-th International investment forum "Sochi-2011" which will pass from September, 15 till September, 18. As informed by the correspondent of the IA RES, the delegation is headed by the President of the RSO Eduard Kokoity. At the forum South Ossetia is also represented by the Prime Minister Vadim Brovtsev and employees of the governmental agencies of the RSO.

Today the new Central Election Committee of the Republic has started its work in South Ossetia. As the Chairman of the Central Election Committee Bella Plieva has informed the news agency "Res", the committee-men held their first session, where the Vice-Chairman and the Secretary were elected. Plieva has noticed that along with establishing the Central Election Committee the presidential election campaign also started in the Republic. The elections will take place in November, 2011 «We are ready to carry out both the presidential elections and the referendum in November.

Today the Ministry of Emergency of Russia will deliver 116 tons of humanitarian aid.to South Ossetia As informed by the President`s Administration of the RSO, a column, consisting of 11 trucks, will arrive at the central square of Tskhinval by noon. The head of the Ministry of Emergency of Russia Sergey Shojgu will visit the Republic for transferring the cargo to the authorities of South Ossetia.

The Russian military bases are located in the territory of South Ossetia and Abkhazia on legal grounds, according to earlier signed interstate agreements. It has been declared the journalists in Tskhinval by the President of the RSO Eduard Kokoity in connection with the ratification of the agreement submitted to the Russian Federation State Duma by the President of Russia Dmitry Medvedev on incorporated Russian military base in South Ossetia which was signed in Moscow on April, 7, 2010. «I consider symbolical that the document on ratification has been submitted by President Dmitry Medvedev today, on the third anniversary of the Georgian aggression.

The situation on the frontier of South Ossetia and Georgia is stable and predictable. It has been reported to the news agency "Res" at the Boundary management of the FSS of Russia in South Ossetia. «Incidents occurring periodically, are basically, connected with crossing of the state border of South Ossetia by the Georgian shepherds together with their herds. Despite the agreement within the frames of the Mechanisms on prevention and reaction to incidents (МPRI), such facts take place all the same and that is the proof of negligent work of the Georgian law-enforcement bodies on prevention of such incidents», - has been noted at the press-service. According to their information within the last two months, the Russian frontier guards have detained 19 frontier violators, 13 of them are the citizens of Georgia, four –the South-Ossetian citizens and two of them are the citizens of Great Britain. «As a rule, the violators are usually transferred to the KGB of the RSO Frontier service.

The international economic forum is planned to be hold in September, 2011 in South Ossetia. It has been reported by the President of the RSO Eduard Kokoity at the government meeting of the Republic.
