The statement of the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Georgia Grigol Vashadze that his country does not intend to leave a format of the Geneva discussions is «the next trick of the Georgian leadership». It has been declared the news agency "Res» by the Plenipotentiary of the President of the RSO on the post conflict settlement Boris Chochiev. «It turns out that Vashadze hasn`t known about the announcement of his assistant Sergey Kapanadze that Georgia does not see any sense in participating in the Geneva discussions any more. Kapanadze cites as if Russia carries out some acts of terrorism against Georgia», - the Plenipotentiary has said. He has noticed that the similar statement were made by the Secretary of the National Security Council of Georgia, the head of the Georgian delegation in a format of the Geneva discussions Giga Bokerija who, however, has denied subsequently his own words.

The Euro Parliament resolution (EP) with the requirement to withdraw the Russian troops from South Ossetia and Abkhazia and stop issuing the Russian passports to the citizens of these republics- is the result of ignorance or, probably, conscious ignoring of the existing realities. It has been declared the IA "Res» by the vice-speaker of the Parliament of South Ossetia Yuri Dzitstsoity, making comments on the resolution concerning the relations of the European Union and Russia, adopted on June, 9. «It`s high time for the Euro Parliament to realize that South Ossetia and Abkhazia are the recognized states, and not any Russian army have ever been on the territory of Georgia. As to South Ossetia, the Russian military base and the Russian frontier guards are stationed in our territory in full accordance with the international law, in particular, in accordance with the agreement on mutual aid and cooperation which has been signed between South Ossetia and Russia. This fact has the legal basis and any appeals are more likely of declarative nature», - the vice-speaker has declared. Dzitstsoity is convinced that the similar formulations in the resolution of the ЕP have appeared by the efforts of Georgia.

Four citizens of Georgia, who have been detained by the border guards of the Border service of KGB in the RSO for violating the frontier on 18 May, are feeling themselves well and have no claims concerning the prison conditions. The detainees themselves have told about it in the course of the meeting with the journalists in Tskhinval. They don`t speak Russian so they were associating with the journalists through the translator. According to the words of the 20-year- old inhabitant of the village Modzvi (Sachkherskiy region, Georgia) Nodzadze, early in the morning of the 18 of May, he went to the wood by minibus with the other villagers for picking up the .wild plants. «There were eleven of us in the minibus. We have arrived in the wood and began picking up the wild plants. Approximately .in half an hour the armed people in military form came up to the tree, on which I was at that moment, and offered me to come down ", - has told Nodzadze. He has reported that the shooting started at the moment of their detention, but being under stress he did not understand, who was shooting and what weapon it was "The people sitting in the minibus had no any weapon", - has confirmed Nodzadze.

The Delegation from South Ossetia is intending to leave for Israel, where it will hold a range of the meetings with Israeli journalists and businessmen, as well as with the representatives of the ossetian diaspora in this Middle East country. The visit of the delegation headed by the head of the. Government administration of the RSO Eleonora Bedoeva and the chief editor of the newspaper "South Ossetia" Zalina Tskhovrebova will take place on invitation of the executive manager of the Israeli office of the worldwide congress of the russian-language Jewry Elion Vilenchik. "In the course of the trip we shall meet with the journalists of the russian-language publications in Israel for further interaction and expansion of the informational space of South Ossetia. We are also planning to work out the joint journalistic projects for struggling with the fascist manifestations all over the world", - has told IA "Res" the chief editor of the newspaper "South Ossetia" Zalina Tskhovrebova.

The meeting of the co-chairmen of the Geneva debates on safety in Transcaucasia with the Plenipotentiary of the President of the RSO on post conflict settlement Boris Chochiev and the members of the South-Ossetian delegation at the Geneva debates is taking place in Tskhinval. In the course of the meeting Boris Chochiev has informed the guests about the situation in .the regions of South Ossetia bordered on Georgia and has underlined that the whole situation is quiet and one could see the reduction of amount of the border violations. "The dwellers of the South-Ossetian districts, bordering on Georgia, have realized that the border is being protected what has promoted the reduction of the boundary violations. If such events take place, they are discussed at the meetings within the frames of the MPRI", - has noted the Plenipotentiary.

The investigation group of the Peacemaking mission named after general Lebed has proceed to searching for people missing in the course of the georgian-ossetian conflict in 1989-2008y.y. As a Chairman of the Council of the Peacemaking mission Alexander Mukomolov informed IA «Res», the actions of the investigators had been coordinated with the leadership of South Ossetia and the law-enforcement structures of the Republic. "At the point we are collecting samples of blood group of the relatives of the missing people to create a genetic and information data base of the Republic. The works on identification of the remains and the samples of blood will be conducted in the Russian centre of the judicial-medical expertise", - has reported Mukomolov. According to his words, the financing of the process of searching for the missing people has been allotted from the grant of the President of Russia, and is being realized by the Public Chamber of the RF.

What are the methods and the activity of the Georgian special services against South Ossetia?

First of all, on the eve of the holiday – the Day of the Great Victory, I would like to congratulate our veterans and all our society. All those people, who brought closer the victory in that great fight of our people for liberty, I wish them health, welfare and long years of life. As to the activity of the Georgian special services, it is aimed at destabilization of the situation in the Republic of South Ossetia. Even on the eve of the war in August 2008 the special services of Georgia have conducted several terrorist acts on the territory of South Ossetia, in the result of which the innocent people, including teenagers, perished. At the same time, for the reason of persuading our citizens to cooperate with them, they used blackmail, involved them in smuggling, planted drugs and false money on people. These methods are being used by them up to the present time. All the citizens of the RSO, regardless, if they are found on the territory of Georgia lawfully or not, are being observed attentively by the Georgian special services. They undergo psychological pressure for getting the information on military objects in the RSO, on political situation. The Special services make provocations for attracting people to the secret cooperation. Unfortunately, the analysis of the acts of terror in the RSO proves that the Georgian special services also attracted the citizens of the RSO to their activity. At the same time I would like to remind you that our legislation enables the discharge of criminal responsibility on the article 205 (the terrorism) and 275 (the high treason) of the Criminal code, in case of voluntary appearance of a person, cooperated with the foreign special services, forces and promoted prevention of the act of terror and wrecking of the reconnaissance actions, directed on violating safety in the Republic.

A meeting of the Co-Chairmen of the Geneva discussions on security in South Caucasus with the members of the South Ossetia delegation to the discussions took place in Tskhinval. For the South Ossetian side the Special Representative for Post-Conflict Settlement Boris Chochiev, Deputy Special Representative Merab Chigoev, the Minister for Foreign Affairs Murat Djioev and the Special Representative for Human Rights David Sanakoev participated in the meeting. The delegation included the EU Envoy Pierre Moreal, OSCE Representative for protracted conflicts Giedrius Chekuolis and the UN Co-Chairman Antti Turunen. In his opening speech, Chochiev conveyed apologies from the South Ossetian president Eduard Kokoity, a meeting with whom was in the initial program of the visit of the Co-Chairmen to South Osseita. The meeting was cancelled due to technical reasons.
