The South Ossetian artist Sarmat Dudaev will take part in the International festival of the CIS states young performers of classical music «Rising stars in the Kremlin». It has been declared IA "RES" by the Deputy Minister of Culture of the RSO Julietta Dzheranova. According to her, representatives of South Ossetia annually take part in this festival. «This year at the festival our Republic will be presented by the perspective, talented artist Sarmat Dudaev who will play the Ossetian accordion on the scene of the Kremlin palace on November, 22», - Dzheranova has told. She has noticed that the young musicians from the CIS countries and other states will perform at the festival «Rising stars in the Kremlin». «For Sarmat Dudaev this festival will be a big stimulus in his further creative growth», - Dzheranova has added. The festival «Rising stars in the Kremlin» started on November, 8, 2009.

The South Ossetian state theatre nameвafter Kosta Khetagurov has taken part in the XII International Volkovsky festival which was being held in Yaroslavl from November, 3 to November, 12. It has been reported to IA "RES" by the Deputy Minister of Culture of the RSO Julietta Dzheranova. As she has said, at the festival the group of actors presented a performance «The Eleventh Commandment» by play of Lope де to Vega "Fuente Ovekhuna".

I`ll never forget the war in August, 2008. In the night of August, 8, when the massed bombardment of all Republic launched, I was at home with my mother and children. Having heard the first explosion, we rushed for the children, and at full speed ran into the cellar. The electricity was disconnected, it was very terrible. I was calming my children, as I could. None of us could ever think that such things could occur in the 21st century. In the evening before, we had heard the speech of the Georgian president on TV; he said that from that day forward there would be peace between the Georgian and the Ossetian people. Nevertheless, he once again proved that his words cost nothing; the Georgian military men attacked the sleeping Tskhinval at night. The missiles were falling one after another, all the sky was in flame, at each explosion we shuddered and did not know what would happen in a minute. All of us hoped that by the morning the bombardment would stop, but the things became worse. In the morning the Georgian monsters entered the town, crushing everything on their way, sparing nobody.

Today, on October, 19, the youth government of South Ossetia has organized a protest action «Awards - to heroes! A shame medal -to Saakashvili! ». Participants of the action have opposed to awarding the President of Georgia Michail Saakashvili the Legion of Honour.

Three years have passed after the tragic August events, but time has not cured the war scars remained in our souls forever, despite the restoration works being carried out dynamically in our town. One cannot forget the terrifying ordeals our people have undergone. On August, 8, 2008, when the Georgians attacked the sleeping people of South Ossetia, I was at home with my children. Having heard the explosions, I thought that the bombardment would stop in some hours, that it was the next provocation of Georgia. But in some minutes I completely changed my opinion- I realized that the cruel war had begun. I went down into the cellar with my children. We were so frightened that we could not even speak.

A Round table on the subject «South Ossetia: before and after the recognition» has been held today in Tskhinval. The Minister for Foreign Affairs of the RSO Murat Dzhioev, the State Adviser to the President of the RSO Kosta Dzugaev, the Vice-Speaker of the Parliament of the RSO Yury Dzitstsoity, representatives of the public have taken part in work of the Round table. The issues of political and national priorities of the RSO, a role of Russia, South Ossetia and Georgia in geopolitical processes of the nineties have been placed on the agenda.

A round table «South Ossetia: before and after the recognition», timed to celebrating the Declaration Day of the Republic of South Ossetia will be held at the Media centre "IR" in Tskhinval. As the organizers of the action have informed IA RES, participants of the round table intend to discuss a role of Russia, South Ossetia and Georgia in geopolitical processes in the nineties, and also political and national priorities of South Ossetia.

Today the Central Election Committee of South Ossetia has accepted packages of documents on registration of the initiative group, nominating Alla Dzhioeva (ex-Minister for Education of the RSO) and Valery Tedeev (ex-Deputy Minister for Defence of South Ossetia) for presidential election of South Ossetia. It has been reported to the news agency "Res" by the member of the Central Election Committee of the RSO Marina Tskhovrebova. According to her words, at present seven initiative groups on presidential nomination of the Republic have been registered; they have the right to gather 1000 signatures of citizens of the Republic.

I live at International Street in Tskhinval. That awful night, from seventh to eighth of August, I was at home. Because of tension reigned in the town I had earlier sent my children to North Ossetia. Early in the morning my husband went to his work. I was alone when the explosions were resounded at night.

The delegation of South Ossetia will take part in the celebratory actions devoted to the 370 anniversary of the Azov seized sitting of the Don Cossacks which will pass on September, 10-11 2011 in Azov. As reported by the press-service of the Republican Political Party "Unity" to the news agencies "Res", the First Deputy Chairman of the RSO Parliament, the Chairman of the RPP «Unity» Zurab Kokoev, the Deputy Head of the RSO Presidential Administration Alan Tekhov, the Deputy Head of the Tskhinval District Administration, the Chairman of the Tskhinval regional branch of the RPP "Unity" Valery Bibilov have been invited to take part in the celebratory actions in Azov.
