The meeting of the commission of South Ossetia and delegation of Russia on delimitation of the frontier of South Ossetia and the Russian Federation has been held in Moscow. According to the phone message of the Plenipotentiary of the President of South Ossetia Boris Chochiev to IA RES from Moscow, the questions connected with preparation of signing of the agreement between the RSO and the Russian Federation about the state frontier have been discussed at the third meeting.

The Russian frontier guards have detained five citizens of Georgia for illegal crossing of the frontier of South Ossetia and Georgia. As the news agency "Res" has been informed at the press-service of the FSS Boundary management of Russia in the Republic of South Ossetia, «on September, 19 at 18:05 employees of the frontier management of the FSS of Russia in the RSO detained five citizens for illegal crossing of the frontier near the village Balta (Znaurskiy district) moving from Georgia towards South Ossetia.

The Central Election Committee of South Ossetia has registered Alan Kochiev ( a trainer of the weightlifting juvenile sports school) as the candidate for presidents. As IA RES has been informed at the Central Election Committee of the RSO, from now on Kochiev has the right to begin the canvassing campaign.

On September, 19 the President of South Ossetia Eduard Kokoity has met in Tskhinval with the state Tuvalu delegation led by the Prime Minister Villi Telavi. It has been informed IA RES at the Presidential Administration of the RSO. During the meeting Eduard Kokoity has underlined that South Ossetia is ready to establish the closest and friendly relations between the two states. «In spite of the fact that the geographical distance between our states is too long, we are always ready to co-operate with the progressive states which respect and appreciate people`s struggle for independence. South Ossetia has undergone the ordeals. But our people have withstood the force and have achieved their main objective - independence and the international recognition», - Kokoity has declared. In turn, Villi Telavi has thanked Eduard Kokoity for the warm reception, having noted that he is glad to visit South Ossetia.

The Pacific state Tuvalu has recognized the independence of South Ossetia. The joint statement on establishing diplomatic relations between South Ossetia and Tuvalu has been signed on September, 19 in Tskhinval. The document has been signed by the Prime Minister of Tuvalu Villi Telavi and the President of the RSO Eduard Kokoity. It has been informed the IA "Res" at the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of the RSO.

The delegation of the People`s Party of the Republic of South Ossetia headed by the Chairman of the youth wing of the RSO People`s Party, the Chairman of the youth government of the RSO Michail Kochiev,being on a visit in the Republic of Slovakia, has carried out the fruitful work. As the IA RES has been informed at the People`s Party press-service, in the course of the meetings with representatives of the political parties, public organizations and deputies of the Parliament of the Republic of Slovakia the detailed information about the situation in South Ossetia, about the process of restoration and development of the young Republic has been discussed.

The Central Election Committee of the RSO has accepted five more documents set from the initiative groups nominating the following candidates for the Presidency of the Republic: Merab Chigoev (the deputy of the RSO Parliament),Khokh Gagloev (a businessman), Akhsar Vaneev (a businessman), Alan Pliev (the Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of the RSO), the nominee of the party «Unity«, the Minister for Emergency Situations of the RSO Anatoly Bibilov.It has been noted that for today the Central Election Committee accepted documents from 21 initiative groups and two political parties.«Except the initiative group nominating Alan Pliev as the Presidentialcandidate,no one of the othershas been registered at the Central Election Committee.

Within the frames of the first Russian-Economic Business Forum «Republic of South Ossetia: construction of the modern state through the effective economy»a session of the round table on a subject «Results and prospects of economic cooperation with Russia. The basic directions of construction and upgrade of infrastructure and economy of South Ossetia»,presided by the Deputy Prime Minister of the government of the RSO Domenty Kulumbegov and the Deputy Minister for regional development of the Russian Federation Sergey Vereshchagin,has been held in the capital of the RSO.

The round table on a subject «Formation of a favorable investment climate in the Republic of South Ossetia has taken place in the capital of the Republic of South Ossetia. Prospects of the international economic integration of the Republic of South Ossetia». The round table has taken place within the frames of the first Russian-South Ossetian economic business forum «Republic of South Ossetia: construction of the modern state through the effective economy». The Deputy Minister for Economic Development of the RSO William Dzagoev and the Deputy Director of the Department for Economic Cooperation and Integration with the CIS countries Andrey Tsemakhovich have been presided atthe round table.

On September, 20, 2011 - the First Russian-South Ossetian economic forum -«Republic of South Ossetia: construction of the modern state through the effective economy»-has taken place in the capital of the Republic of South Ossetia –Tskhinval, organized by the noncommercial organization, Fund of development «Institute of the Eurasian Researches» with support of the Presidential Administrations of the Russian Federation and the Republic of South Ossetia. More than 300 participants - politicians, representatives of state structures, businessmen, experts, journalists, representing Russia and South Ossetia, have taken part in the forum work. By results of the questions of socio-economic development of the Republic of South Ossetia, discussed at the forum, the participants have noted the following.
