A polling station for the election of President of South Ossetia will be opened in the Embassy of South Ossetia in the Russian Federation

Embassy of the Republic of South Ossetia in the Russian Federation has announced that due to the scheduled for March 25, 2012 re-run elections of the President of the Republic of South Ossetia and in accordance with the decision of the Central Election Committee, a polling station number 85 for the voting citizens of the Republic of South Ossetia, living or temporarily staying in Moscow will be opened in the Embassy.

At the round table in Tskhinval it was made a decision to create a new political party

A round table has been held in Tskhinval, where it was discussed the idea of creating a new political party named "For civic dignity." The organizer of the round table was "Association of the South Ossetian Women for Democracy and Human Rights." According to the president of the "Association of the South Ossetian Women for Democracy and Human Rights" Lira Tskhovrebova, one of the objectives of the new party will be promoting development of the civil society. "Thanks to the activities of our association, we were able to give analytical material to position of women in society, to the state of civil society, and now thanks to creation of a new party, we will be able to improve the situation in these areas," - said Tskhovrebova.

In summer a new bottling line for mineral water will be opened in South Ossetia

The new high-tech equipment will be commissioned this summer in the Bagiata bottling plant. As IA "Res" has been informed by the Economic Development Minister of the RSO Alexei Khabalov, purchased in 2011 a new line for bottling mineral water is able to produce six thousand bottles per hour. "This line will be ten times more powerful than the present one. There is no room in the plant, so we decided to build a hangar. In the coming days representatives of the supplier from Melitopol will arrive in South Ossetia". According to Khabalov, for supplying the Russian market with the plant production the mineral water should be produced in glass bottles.
