More than 40 observers from the Russian Federation will monitor the elections in South Ossetia. As reported to IA "Res" by a representative of the Central Election Committee Christina Avlokhova, "more than 40 observers will arrive in the Republic on the invitation of the Central Election Committee, Parliament, the Presidential Administration of South Ossetia."
The Acting Speaker of the RSO Parliament Zurab Kokoev received a delegation of the Federation Council of Russia. The delegation has included Viktor Ozerov - Chairman of the RF Committee on Defense and Security Federation Council, Elias Bechelov - Member of the Federation Council of Russia, Konstantin Kopaev - Advisor to the Office of the Federation Council Committee on Defense and Security, Rashid Fayzukhanov - Advisor to the Office of International Relations of the Federation Council.
The delegation of the Ministry of Culture of South Ossetia will take part in the third International Festival "Pyatigorsk is lighting the stars," which will be held in Pyatigorsk March 24-25. The Central Election Committee of South Ossetia appealed to the citizens of the Republic to show active civic stand and to take part in the re-election of the president on Sunday, March 25. The CEC Chairman asked the observers and the representatives of the candidates having the right of signature on the ballots to comply with the current standards of the electoral legislation at the polls and do not go beyond their duties."The signature authorization representatives should only deal with putting their signatures on the reverse side of the ballot. Observers in the November, 2011 election, which were checking practically each voter`s passport, had no such authority. They could only observe what was happening at the poll.
Webcams will be installed in the Information Centre of the Central Electoral Committee of South Ossetia. This has been reported to IA "Res" by the CEC Chairman Bella Plieva.
" Webcams will be installed at the entrance and in the premises of the CEC Information Center in order to ensure the maximum transparency of its work", - said Plieva.

The new high-tech equipment will be commissioned this summer in the Bagiata bottling plant. As IA "Res" has been informed by the Economic Development Minister of the RSO Alexei Khabalov, purchased in 2011 a new line for bottling mineral water is able to produce six thousand bottles per hour. "This line will be ten times more powerful than the present one. There is no room in the plant, so we decided to build a hangar. In the coming days representatives of the supplier from Melitopol will arrive in South Ossetia". According to Khabalov, for supplying the Russian market with the plant production the mineral water should be produced in glass bottles.
Acting President of South Ossetia Vadim Brovtsev considers as the "good sign" an appointment of Taimuraz Mamsurov a special envoy of the Russian President in South Ossetia.
"Two fraternal republics are linked historically. One nation is living in North and South Ossetia. I am convinced, that now, after the appointment of the head of the neighboring republic Taimuraz Mamsurov as the special envoy of the Russian President, good links between our country and Russia will be more strengthened. This is a good sign,"- told Brovtsev.
