Award presentation of the South-Ossetian schoolboys – the winners of the International festival of children's art creativity «First in Space»- which passed in Moscow, has taken place at the Embassy of the Russian Federation in South Ossetia. In warm friendly atmosphere the schoolboys and their teachers have been welcomed by the Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Russian Federation in the RSO Elbrus Kargiev and the representative of the Russian Cooperation in the RSO Mikhail Stepanov. According to Elbrus Kargiev, all diplomatic workers have marked a great interest of the South-Ossetian people to processes occurring in the Russian Federation. «We feel especial interest on the part of youth that makes us glad. It is the display of high respect, love and friendship of people of South Ossetia towards people of Russia.

Today the Ministry of Emergency Situations of South Ossetia will start distribution of the humanitarian aid which has arrived in the Republic within the frames of the Interdepartmental humanitarian action «Mutual aid. Cooperation. Safety» on the instruction of the President of Russia Dmitry Medvedev. The Minister for Emergency Situations of the RSO Anatoly Bibilov has informed the news agency "Res" about it.

In Tskhinval the pre-election situation in South Ossetia was discussed at the meeting of the President of the RSO Eduard Kokoity with the Republican public. Having noticed that for today the situation in the Republic is quiet and stable, the head of the state, at the same time has warned those who try to strain the conditions and break the current legislation. «Election campaign always happens heavy, ambitious.

Today the next meeting within the frames of the mechanisms on prevention and reaction to incidents on the border has taken place in the Georgian village Dvani, which is located next to frontier of South Ossetia. As reported by the Plenipotentiary of the President of the RSO on post conflict settlement Merab Chigoev to the news agency "Res", representatives of Russia, South Ossetia, Georgia, the EU Mission of Observers in Georgia and the OSCE have taken part in the meeting.

The President of South Ossetia Eduard Kokoity and members of government of the Republic have taken part in the mourning actions devoted to the seventh anniversary of the Beslan tragedy. The delegation of the government has included: the Minister for Emergency Situations Anatoly Bibilov, the Minister for Education, Science and Youth Policy Ariana Dzhioeva, the Chairman of the State Committee for Information and Mass Communications Georgy Kabisov, the Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Russian Federation in the RSO Elbrus Kargiev and other officials. About 13:00 the music has ceased to play at the first school in Beslan. After two strokes of bell the minute of silence has been announced.

In day of celebrating the Day of Republic - on September, 20 the first foundation stone of the Academic town will be putin South Ossetia. It has been declared by the President of South Ossetia Eduard Kokoity during the meeting with the students of the South-Ossetian State University.According to the President, it will be the best university complex all over the North Caucasus;its project has been already confirmed.« We need the highly skilled experts, but, first of all, we need the good Ossetian youth brought up on kind nice Ossetian traditions and customs. On September, 2nd the next meeting of representatives of the South-Ossetian and the Georgian parties within the frames of Mechanisms on Prevention and Reaction to Incidents will take place in the Georgian village Dvani. It has been informed the news agency "Resi" by the Deputy Plenipotentiary of the President of the RSO on post conflict settlement Merab Chigoev.

Today the new Central Election Committee of the Republic has started its work in South Ossetia. As the Chairman of the Central Election Committee Bella Plieva has informed the news agency "Res", the committee-men held their first session, where the Vice-Chairman and the Secretary were elected. Plieva has noticed that along with establishing the Central Election Committee the presidential election campaign also started in the Republic. The elections will take place in November, 2011 «We are ready to carry out both the presidential elections and the referendum in November.

The Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of South Ossetia in the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela Narim Kozaev has paid an official visit to Caracas. It has been informed by the press-service of the RSO Foreign Ministry. On August, 30 Narim Kozaev was received at the Foreign Ministry of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela. During the meeting the Ambassador has transferred the copies of credentials to the Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Venezuela.

Since August, 23rd the field hospital of the All-Russia Medical Centre of Accidents "Protection" has been functioning in Leningorskiy district of South Ossetia. Physicians of the largest medical centers of Russia are rendering medical aid not only to inhabitants of the district. The local population is pleased with the opportunity to receive the free of charge aid of the Russian experts. As reported by the news agency "Res[i]" neuropathologists and cardiologists are in great demand among the population of the district. «Besides experts of all directions are working in the hospital.
