In October, 23 violators of the established legal regimes were detained at various sections of the state border of South Ossetia. The Republic's leadership, headed by President Alan Gagloyev, the deputy corps, the Russian Embassy in the Republic, and the deceased's relatives and friends came to bid farewell to the fighter.

His fellow soldiers were at the farewell ceremony, including the soldier who carried Dzhioev off the battlefield.
