The Parliament carries out a vital mission by developing laws aimed at improving the quality of life of citizens, ensuring sustainable development and strengthening the sovereignty of South Ossetia. This is stated in the congratulation of President of the Republic of South Ossetia Alan Gagloev on the Day of the Formation of Parliament of the Republic.

The head of state has emphasized that December 9, 1990 has forever entered the history of the Republic as the day of the establishment of parliamentarism and national sovereignty.

Minister of Culture of South Ossetia Rada Dzagoeva, together with Deputy Minister of Culture of the Chechen Republic Rustam Milkiev, who is in the Republic on a working visit, visited the children's art school under construction in Tskhinval.

The South Ossetian Parliament has ratified the Treaty with the Russian Federation on the development of military-technical cooperation.
