Tskhinval is not still supplied with potable water. The repair works, made by the Georgian side, go slowly and poorly. Meanwhile, all the measures are undertaken in the capital of the Republic of South Ossetia for supplying the population with potable water. The results of bacteriological and chemical analyses of the water from the Egra gorge of the Znaur region of the Republic of South Ossetia have appeared to be positive, and within the next few days the laying of the sluice will begin. The population with understanding concerns the situation and renders any kind of possible assistance to the town administration of Tskhinval in organization of water supply. The information on some kind of "panic" in Tskhinval has taken place in «the Independent newspaper» and that is not true to fact. Namely owing to the activity of the citizens, the good organization of the public organizations it managed to avoid a humanitarian accident that Georgia purposefully tried to create here. For 12 days the ossetian brigade hasn"t been admitted for carrying out of the repair works of the sluice Edis-Tskhinval. The repair works, made by the Georgian side, still have more a declarative character.
