On 23 March at 11 o’clock in the settlement of Okona of Znaur district of RSO was conducted another act of terrorism by Georgian special services. An explosion device of about 400 g in trinitrotoluene equivalent was fired in a “Niva” car. In the result of explosion serious wounds got a not established member of the RSO KGB Koliev Inal and a serviceman of peacekeeping battalion from RNO-Alania Doguzov Vladislav. It is ascertained that the explosive device disguised under a domestic appliance was handed to Koliev I. by a citizen of Georgia on the RSO and Georgia border between the villages of Okona and Knolevi and was fired in several minutes.
Recently Koliev has accused the Department of counterespionage of Georgia MIA of planning a number of diversions in Tskhinval. In August 2007 at the press-conference organized by the RSO KGB he told in detail as he being wormed into Georgian special services has got an assignment from its members Mdzinarashvili Vahtang and Edisherashvili Gia to deliver powerful explosive devices to Tskhinval disguised under debris. He also told that within 2006-2007 georgian special services planned to undertake series of terrorist acts. The involvement of Georgian authorities in this terrorist acts is beyond doubt and once more confirms that we deal with state terrorist policy against the Republic of South Ossetia. The RSO KGB will bend every effort to investigate the act of terrorism and to punish the culprits.
