The blockade of Ossetian villages conducted by the armed formations of Georgian force structures from 24 March to 6 April 2008 brought to Ossetian people human losses apart from acute shortage of foodstuffs, life necessities and medicines. Having been on the edge of humanitarian disaster, the inhabitants of Ossetian villages were deprived of medical assistance, what was noted with indignation even by Georgian ambulancemen. Equally with Ossetian doctors they also were not allowed to seriously ill persons in adjacent to Georgia Ossetian settlements. Evidently the blockade could last so far but for the pressure on Georgian authorities of the international organizations together with the efforts of South Ossetian part of JCC and JPKF Headquarters. In spite of the fact that the total blockade is removed, there are still some limitations on foodstuffs and life necessities carriage to a number of villages of Leningor, Znaur and Tskhinval districts of RSO.
Below attached the list of RSO citizens died due to the lack of medical assistance. This data is not complete and to be specified.
