In connection with celebrating the 200-anniversary of Independence of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela the Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia Murat Dzhioev has sent congratulation to the Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela Nikolas Maduro Moros. In the congratulation, in particular, is said: Two hundred years ago Venezuela could take the vanguard position in the Independence Revolution. Having chosen the way of freedom, advantage and inalienable right to decide their destiny independently, the people of Venezuela have undergone terrible ordeals which have revealed their better qualities - courage and valour, love for their Native Land, respect for their roots and belief in justice. Confidently continuing the centuries-old traditions of democracy and convincingly showing their unity to the world community, the people of Venezuela have been developing the state in all spheres and directions.
Your Excellency, remembering the atmosphere of constructivism and mutual understanding during our meeting in Caracas, I express gratitude for constant support of the Republic of South Ossetia in the international scene and confidence that strengthening the political, social, economic and cultural contacts between South Ossetia and Venezuela will promote positive dynamics in developing mutual relations between our countries for the benefit of our people. The important device of providing successful realization of our practical tasks is further improvement of the contractual-legal base of mutual relations.
