The border with Georgia will be sealed at the time of the elections in South Ossetia.
As reported to IA "Res" by the law enforcement bodies, since Friday, March 23, all of the security forces in South Ossetia were transferred to the enhanced schedule of service until further notice.

"As part of the activities from 20:00 today will be stopped passing people through the points of simplified crossing the state border with Georgia in the settlements Mosabruni, Artsevi, Sinagur and Karzman. Passing citizens through these points will be resumed after the polls have been closed on March 25, 20:00, p.m. ", - noted the official.
He has stressed that the activities are carried out by the need to ensure security during the presidential elections in the Republic of South Ossetia on March 25.
More than 1000 police officers are involved in the protection of public order at the time of the republic's presidential election.
