Festival of sport is planned to host in Tskhinval on August 26 in honor of recognition of South Ossetia by the Russian Federation. This has been said IA "Res" by the Chairman of the Committee on Youth Policy, Sport and Tourism of South Ossetia Vadim Bogiev.
"We plan to hold this event in honor of recognizing the independence of South Ossetia by the Russian Federation, as well as a tribute to all the defenders of South Ossetia, thanks to the heroic feat of which our nation was able to live peacefully and freely in the land of their ancestors," - said Bogiev.
According to him, within the frames of the Festival the Committee intends to hold in Tskhinval the republican competitions in wrestling, boxing, heavy athletics and other sports.
The head of the Committee noted that all the winners of the competitions would be awarded prizes and gifts.
