For four years South Ossetia has been living in a recognized independent country and the authorities are doing everything to improve the welfare of their citizens. As the RSO President Leonid Tibilov reported journalists at the briefing, "we are working hard to raise the standard of living of our people, as people are worthy of it, and we will do everything to ensure that the welfare of the people would be not lower than in the neighboring countries," - said the president.
He assured that the great assistance provided by the Republic of the Russian Federation, would find its destination - the people of South Ossetia.
"We are working hard to restore South Ossetia for its further development. South Ossetia should create more jobs. The main objective of the authorities of South Ossetia is self-sufficiency of the Republic.
We should use our own internal resources to achieve this goal ", - said Tibilov.
The President stressed that the important thing for the Republic was the recognition of its independence by the Great Russia.
"Moreover, our independence was recognized by Nicaragua, Venezuela and Nauru. Currently, the relevant agencies are working hard to promote the recognition of our independence by other countries.
He noted that the Government of the Republic was working on a positive international image of South Ossetia.
"I believe that in the near future we will be recognized by a number of other countries," - said the head of the state.
It should be noted that celebrations, timed to the fourth anniversary of the recognition of the independence of South Ossetia by the Russian Federation, are being held in South Ossetia. The grand meeting of the leadership and the public "Forever with Russia!" will be held in Tskhinval.
After the meeting on the Peacekeepers street in Tskhinval will begin the Dancing Kaleidoscope. Then the gala concert of the pop group ''Fidaen'' will take place at the Theatre Square, after which here will be continued the dancing kaleidoscope.
The celebration will be completed by fireworks.
