Flash-poll: In Moscow has been held a meeting of Ilia II with representatives of Georgia, living in Moscow, among whom were also members of the Moscow Ossetian community - Amirkhan Torchinov, Gocha Dzasokhov and Nugzar Juruli. How would you comment on the meeting and the statements of those persons, made on behalf of the Ossetian people, in particular, the "restoration of former friendship between the two peoples, in spite of the misunderstandings, (!) between Ossetians and Georgians."
Speaker of the Parliament of South Ossetia, the leader of the Communist Party Stanislav Kochiev:
This was an ordinary private meeting. So I don`t attach great importance to it. The interests of the people of South Ossetia are represented by the appropriate authorities, in this case by the Parliament. If some people in a warm friendly atmosphere exchange kissing hands, it does not concern us. Let they have it on their conscience. And their statement also is private and has no relation to the Ossetians, because kissing the hands that are stained with blood of the Ossetians – is a sign of short-sightedness. And reassuring Ilya II in the warmest feelings of the Ossetian people to Georgia – is not true. We know that the hands stained with blood, cannot be kissed by the real mouthpieces of the interests of the people of South Ossetia. Ilia II, probably, has forgotten how he treated us in the recent past, calling for killing Ossetians, how he declared an anathema on everybody who killed only Georgians. May be we have forgotten it, like Ivan, without kith or kin? South Ossetian leadership has repeatedly voiced its relation to these people and to these events.

It's no secret that often the information on the Internet is not true. But if Torchinov, Dzasokhov and Juruli have really met with Ilia II and kissed his hands, asking for his blessing - so, this is the true I would not wish any people - either alive or dead, women, or men, teenagers or adults.
Ilia II disgraced himself as a chauvinist and an ideologue of the Georgian fascism. In South Ossetia everybody remembers his chauvinistic statements, which have nothing to do with religion, and even more -with Orthodoxy, which proclaims the highest virtue-to show mercy to everybody. Ilia II - is the Catholicos, the Orthodox priest, who in the nineties and in 2008 blessed the crusade against of the same faith Ossetian people.
And, if some of the above-mentioned representatives of the nation want to touch and ask for the blessing of the hand that funneled arms to the heart of faith – it will not be a surprise for them when they will be imposed sanctions in accordance with the code of honor.

I believe this meeting is an outrageous fact. Meeting with the person who is the spiritual leader and father of the Georgian aggression against South Ossetia, who blessed the extermination and expulsion of Ossetians from their native land, who calls South Ossetia as Samachablo, - this fact is a betrayal of Ossetia and Ossetian people.
Representatives of the Moscow Ossetian diaspora, on behalf of which these people were speaking, have to assess this event.
These people have nothing to do with South Ossetia; no one has empowered them to speak on behalf of the Ossetian people. As for Gocha Dzasokhashvili, then it is clear - he has always advocated that South Ossetia should remain the part of Georgia. Amirkhan Torchinov has never done anything with South Ossetia, as well as Nugzar Juruli.
