Leonid Tibilova and Yevgeny Shevchuk met in Sukhum

Issues of bilateral cooperation between South Ossetia and Transnistria were discussed by presidents Leonid Tibilov and Yevgeny Shevchuk during a meeting at the South Ossetian embassy in Abkhazia. The South-Ossetian delegation arrived in Sukhum to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the victory of the Abkhazian people in the Patriotic War of 1992-1993. According to the press secretary of the head of state Ghana Yanovskaya, Leonid Tibilov and Yevgeny Shevchuk discussed further strengthening of bilateral relations, the development of political, economic and cultural cooperation.

"The meeting was also attended by Minister of Foreign Affairs of South Ossetia David Sanakoev, Ambassador of South Ossetia to Abkhazia Oleg Botsiev, Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Foreign Affairs of Transnistria Nina Shtanski, " - said Yanovskaya.
She has added that today in Sukhum Leonid Tibilov laid flowers at the memorial to the first president of Abkhazia Vladislav Ardzinba.
The delegation of South Ossetia led by President Leonid Tibilov is taking part in the festivities in Abkhazia on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the victory of the Abkhazian people in the war of 1992-1993. The South Ossetian delegation has included Foreign Minister David Sanakoev, Defense Minister Valery Yakhnovets, Ambassador of South Ossetia to Russia Dmitry Medoyev, Mayor of Tskhinval Alan Alborov.
