President of South Ossetia and Deputy Interior Minister of Russia discussed the issue of combating crime

President of South Ossetia Anatoly Bibilov and State Secretary and Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation Igor Zubov discussed prospects for cooperation between the law enforcement agencies of the two countries.
According to the website of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, Igor Zubov confirmed the readiness of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia to work together on the widest range of areas.
"During the meeting were discussed the prospects for cooperation between the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia.
The parties have also considered a number of issues on the implementation of the Agreement on Alliance and Integration between the Russian Federation and the Republic of South Ossetia, signed in March 2015. A common opinion was expressed that the conclusion of the agreement had a positive impact on cooperation of the two countries in the law enforcement sphere, which led to real results.
Anatoly Bibilov and Igor Zubov have also exchanged information and opinions on the current situation in the field of combating crime in the border regions of Russia and South Ossetia.
The participants of the meeting also identified topical areas of cooperation for the near future.
