Anatoly Bibilov at the head of the official delegation of South Ossetia has arrived in Caracas

President of South Ossetia, Anatoly Bibilov, has arrived in the capital of Venezuela on a two-day visit, during which he will take part in the inauguration of President Nicolas Maduro.

According to the presidential press service, the delegation of South Ossetia at the airport was met by Venezuelan Deputy Foreign Minister Ivan Gil. Anatoly Bibilov and Ivan Gil during the protocol meeting exchanged greetings, noting the importance of developing bilateral relations.

The ceremony of bringing to the post of the President of Venezuela will be held on January 10 in Caracas.

The delegation of South Ossetia has included the Republic’s Foreign Minister Dmitry Medoev, State Advisor to the President Konstantin Kochiev and Ambassador of South Ossetia to Venezuela Narim Kozaev.

The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela recognized the independence of the Republic of South Ossetia in 2009. Between the countries have been established diplomatic relations.
