In the run-up to the centenary of the Ossetian genocide in the twenties of the last century, young people in South Ossetia launched a flash mob on social networks calling for recognition of the Ossetian genocide by Georgia.
Anna Kokoeva, a student at the South Ossetian State University`s Journalism Department, says that she supported the call, because she considers it important that the whole world know about those terrible events. In 2020, South Ossetia will mark the tragic date - the centenary of the genocide of the Ossetian people, committed by Georgia.
The students have appealed to all Ossetian youth to participate in the flash mob.
Women, old people, children - inhabitants of our Republic were killed on a national basis. And today, once again, citizens of South Ossetia want to draw the world attention to the fact of the genocide of our people.
