From February 10-14, the South Ossetian company Ironsan Winery will present its products at the largest international exhibition of food, beverages and raw materials in Moscow.
This was reported to the RES news Agency by the company's General Director Alexey Tsapaev.
According to him, at the Prodexpo 2020, food will be presented from all over the world, including Bagiata mineral water, wine and cognac produced in South Ossetia.
“Such wines will be presented at the exhibition as: - “Shiraz”, “Cabernet”, “Merlot”, “Sauvignon”, as well as cognac. Last year, we participated in a competition where our wines Sauvignon (dry white) won second place, and Shiraz (dry red) won bronze. The flag of South Ossetia will proudly fly at the entrance with all the other flags of friendly countries. We hope that we will win medals,” Tsapaev said.
According to the General Director, products manufactured in South Ossetia are quite competitive and can compete with the best world brands.
It should be noted that the Ironsaen Winery company expands the range of products every year, in 2020 several types of cognac products entered the market.
Ironsaen Winery LLC began functioning at the end of December 2018. The project to create a winery based on the Canning Plant began in 2017. The facility is equipped with modern Italian equipment.
The production capacity of the enterprise allows to produce about 600 thousand bottles of wine per month. The company produces wines - “Shiraz”, “Cabernet”, “Merlot”, “Sauvignon”, the product range will expand due to new wines, as well as cognacs and fruit juices.
Most of the company's products are designed for export, but the company also sells its wines on the local market.
