President of South Ossetia Anatoly Bibilov has appointed Erik Pukhaev to the post of state adviser to the President of the Republic of South Ossetia, the press service of the head of state reports.
During the meeting, at which the former prime minister was invited to take the position of state adviser to the President, Anatoly Bibilov noted the extensive experience of Eric Pukhaev.
“I would not want the potential that you have to disappear, so I would like to offer you the position of state adviser to the president on economic issues. You know perfectly well the work of the government, you are well aware of all spheres of life of the state, I am sure that success is awaiting you, "the head of the Republic said.
Thanking Erik Pukhaev for his successful work as Prime Minister, Anatoly Bibilov wished him luck in his new career.
In turn, Erik Pukhaev expressed his gratitude for the trust and assured the President of fruitful work for the good of South Ossetia.
“If we make the right decisions, we will be successful. Thank you for your trust,” he said.
The decree on the appointment of Erik Pukhaev to the post of state advisor was published on the website of the head of state.
It should be reminded that the former head of the South Ossetian Cabinet of Ministers, Erik Pukhaev, resigned against the backdrop of a popular gathering at the end of August last year of his own free will.
