Prime Minister of South Ossetia Gennady Bekoev has met with a delegation from the North Caucasus Federal University headed by Rector Dmitry Bespalov.
According to the press service of the government, the delegation that arrived in Tskhinval on a working visit has also included the head of the Military Training Center at the NCFU Vladimir Pakhomov, Acting Director of the Law Institute of the NCFU Dmitry Smirnov, Deputy Director for Research of the NCFU Law Institute Maxim Trofimov and head of the Russian Language Department of the NCFU Humanities Institute
The meeting was also attended by Rector of the South Ossetian State University Vadim Tedeev.
Having warmly greeted the guests, Gennady Bekoev discussed with them issues of cooperation in the development of education in South Ossetia.
“It is important to preserve and continue our positive developments, and reach new levels of cooperation with the North Caucasus Federal University, in particular, in the field of meeting the needs of the Republic in highly qualified personnel, including in the field of civil service, economics and management”, - said the head of the government.
As noted by Vadim Tedeev, South Ossetian State University has been cooperating with the NCFU since 2014. During this time, joint scientific and practical conferences were held, scientific articles were published, legislative acts were prepared, with the support of the NCFU, more than 1200 people improved their qualifications, and many plans have been outlined for the future.
Dmitry Bespalov, in turn, expressed his readiness to continue cooperation and thanked for the warm welcome.
“We have many joint events planned, we are ready to continue our fruitful cooperation with the Republic of South Ossetia,” he said.
It should be reminded that the NCFU delegation is in South Ossetia on the invitation of the leadership of the South Ossetian State University. A cooperation agreement was signed between the two universities. Representatives of the NCFU were also received by President of South Ossetia Anatoly Bibilov.
