The cameraman from South Ossetia Alan Kasoev received a special diploma for the best camerawork on the film "Spiridon" at the online film festival "Double dv @". As Kasoev himself told IA"Res", the festival had been taking place from 6 to 20 April, and the program included eleven full-length and thirteen short films by Russian directors.
“To be honest, the award was completely unexpected for me. It is very pleasant that the jury appreciated our work,” he said.
As noted by the press service of the festival, the audience actively participated in the voting, "after all, it is the feedback from the audience and the instant response that distinguishes the online festival from all others."
Alan Kasoev, a native of Tskhinval, became interested in camera art in his youth, having started to work in high school on the first South Ossetian television. Later, in Moscow, together with Guram Karsanov, he created the national Internet project "Iudzinad". Participated as a cameraman in the filming of the feature film "Bacha" and the documentaries - "Alexander Tatarsky. Lord of the Plasticine Crows "and" How the idols were leaving ". His works were highly appreciated by both experts and spectators.
The virtual cinema hall of the festival "Double dv@" was visited by almost 30 thousand viewers from 95 countries — from Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, the USA, Germany, Great Britain and even exotic Mozambique, Cambodia and Senegal.
