President Anatoly Bibilov congratulated Daniel Ortega on his re-election as President of the Republic of Nicaragua, the press service of the head of state reported.
President of South Ossetia has stressed that the convincing victory in the elections clearly demonstrated the public recognition of Daniel Ortega's services to the country, the high confidence of the people and support for the program aimed at the comprehensive development of the country and meeting the aspirations of its citizens.
“The results of the presidential and parliamentary elections reaffirm the authority and leading role of the ruling Sandinista National Liberation Front party in implementing effective public policy, reflecting the will and aspirations of the majority of Nicaraguan citizens, who highly value the party's achievements in recent years.
I am sure that by our common efforts the friendly relations that have developed between our countries will continue to be strengthened and developed,” the congratulatory text says.
Anatoly Bibilov wished the President of Nicaragua "good health, new achievements and the implementation of all plans aimed at the prosperity of the Republic of Nicaragua, and peace and prosperity for the entire Nicaraguan people."
