South Ossetian Foreign Minister Dmitry Medoev met with the Chairman of the Turkish Ossetian Society "Alan" Sadrettin Kusaty and the activists of the organization, the press service of the Foreign Ministry reported.
“During the meeting, were discussed the results of the joint activities for 2021 were summed up and issues of interaction with the Ossetian community in Turkey for 2022. Dmitry Medoev noted the importance of the cultural and educational work carried out by the Alan Society aimed at strengthening ties with the Motherland and expanding cooperation with both parts of Ossetia. The participants of the meeting confirmed their intention to continue the implementation of various cultural and educational projects, primarily youth ones, as well as the search for ways to expand the ties of the Ossetians of Turkey with their small homeland," the Foreign Ministry said.
The press service has noted that Dmitry Medoev's working visit to the Republic of Turkey has ended.
