Chairman of the Government of South Ossetia Konstantin Dzhussoev met with a group of employees of the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia headed by Director of the Department of Special Programs and Projects Vitaly Gudin.
According to the press service of the government, for the South Ossetian part, the meeting was also attended by Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Economic Development Dzambolat Tadtaev, Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Eduard Dzagoev, Minister of Justice Oleg Gagloev, for the Russian part - Deputy Directors of the Department of Special Programs of the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia Anton Melnik and Yulia Sukhoverkhova.
During the meeting, the results of work with the state authorities of the Republic were discussed within the framework of the planned control event "Verification of compliance by the Republic of South Ossetia with the terms of the Agreement between the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of South Ossetia on the procedure for providing financial assistance to the Republic of South Ossetia for the implementation of budget investments and support for investment activities dated May 7, 2020".
As noted by Konstantin Dzhussoev, issues related to the socio-economic development of the Republic, in particular, the implementation of investment projects, mutual settlements, energy security, and other topical issues were discussed.
“It can be noted that intergovernmental cooperation with Russia is developing in a constructive way. On all the issues discussed, we have found support and understanding from our Russian colleagues,” said Konstantin Dzhussoev.
