The artistic director of the Ulyanovsk Theater for Young Spectators Eduard Terekhov and the artistic director of the State Drama Theater of South Ossetia Tamerlan Dzudtsov spoke at the press conference in Tskhinval about the plans for cooperation between the two temples of Melpomene.

The speakers also shared with journalists the results of the last tour of the Ulyanovsk Theater in Tskhinval.

Eduard Terekhov told about the friendship between the two theaters – the Ulyanovsk and the South Ossetia, and also shared his further creative plans.

“During the first visit of the Kosta Khetagurov State Drama Theater to Ulyanovsk, I promised that we would definitely come to South Ossetia with a return visit. Life took shape in such a way that we couldn’t do one thing or another. Now the building of our theater is under reconstruction. In the middle of next year, the theater will be commissioned and the new building will be opened by the second International Festival “Together”, to which South Ossetian colleagues have already received the invitation,” he said.

Terekhov has stressed that the theater of South Ossetia has a wonderful team, and the building itself is worth a separate word.

“We, as specialists, theatrical figures, are understandable and happy for our colleagues who have such an opportunity for creativity,” said the artistic director.

Tamerlan Dzudtsov expressed gratitude to the artistic director of the Ulyanovsk Theater Eduard Terekhov and the entire team for visiting the Republic and implementing this project.

“What we have seen on the stage during these three days is worth a lot. Those children and adults who have come to the performances will remember them for a long time. Emotional contact has taken place,” he said.

It should be reminded that from October 25 to 28, the Ulyanovsk actors showed four performances on the South Ossetian stage. The audience saw the performances "The Story of a Kidnapping" based on the story by O. Henry "The Leader of the Redskins", "The Best Thing in My Life" based on the play by Keren Klimovsky, "How Lopsho Became a Man" based on the play by Damir Salimzyanov and the theater and educational project "The Sun . Fly. Crocodile", based on the works by Korney Chukovsky.

Recently, Minister of Culture of South Ossetia, Rada Dzagoeva, met with Minister of Art and Cultural Policy of the Ulyanovsk Region, Yevgenia Sidorova.
