Natives of South Ossetia living in Russia provided humanitarian assistance to the Ossetian servicemen in the Donbass. For the participants of the special military operation, they purchased several vehicles and night vision devices.

The initiator of the collection of humanitarian aid was the head of the Ossetian society of the city of Gelendzhik, Marat Tedeev.

Tedeev told the “Res ” news agency that this was the fifth humanitarian aid they had collected and sent to the Ossetian members of the special military operation.

“Our cargo this time is larger. We bought and delivered to the guys three UAZ vehicles, a quadrocopter, a thermal imager and food,” Tedeev said.

He has stressed that they have been sending humanitarian aid to the Ossetian fighters almost from the beginning of the special military operation.

"We started delivering the necessary assistance to our fighters literally two or three weeks after the start of a special military operation. At that time there was a need for food, ammunition. Today there is an urgent need for off-road vehicles, night vision devices. We are often at the forefront and therefore we already know what is needed and what is not, and we buy everything necessary,” he said.

Tedeev has added that the cargo was collected with the support of the Ossetian Diasporas of Gelendzhik, Krasnodar Territory, Anapa, Novorossiysk and Sochi. He expressed his gratitude to everyone involved in the collection of humanitarian aid and to everyone who helped delivering the cargo.
