President of South Ossetia Alan Gagloev noted the importance of building up ties between the Republic and Karachay-Cherkessia. The South Ossetian leader stated this during the meeting with the head of the KChR, Rashid Temrezov.
The meeting was held on Wednesday at the ground of the first Caucasian Investment Exhibition of the IEC "MinvodyEXPO", according to the message published on the official website of President of the Republic of South Ossetia.
Gagloev has noted that he is closely following the development of Karachay-Cherkessia and is pleased with its positive changes.
“This platform allows us to discuss issues where we can interact. It is very important to build up the ties that already exist between our republics and reach a new level of cooperation,” said Alan Gagloev.
He also stressed the need for closer interaction between the relevant departments of the two republics and the exchange of experience.
For his part, Rashid Temrezov outlined the main directions for the development of the KChR - the tourism area, industry, and agriculture.
“We have something to show at the exhibition, and we have prospects for the joint development of our republics,” he said.
At the end of the meeting, Alan Gagloev expressed his readiness to conduct a constructive dialogue with the fraternal republics, and also stressed the importance of using the successful experience of other states.
