Fifty state border violators were detained by the South Ossetian authorities in October 2023, of which 30 violated the state border regime, 20 violated the border regime, the press service of the State Security Committee of the Republic reports.
The press service has noted that the Border Service of the Committee conducted investigations into each fact of violation.
“As a result of the procedural activities, administrative measures were applied to the violators with explanatory work, during which 22 people were subjected to an administrative fine, two people were expelled from the Republic without penalties, 21 people were warned, criminal cases were initiated against three people, against two violators- an investigation is underway,” the KGB has noted.
