Representatives of South Ossetia will take part in the II International Folk Music Festival "Youth. Art. Creation", which will be held from December 7-9 in Nalchik on the basis of the North Caucasus State Institute of Arts, the press service of Ministry of Culture of the Republic of South Ossetia reports.
The event will be attended by soloist students and groups (ensembles, orchestras) of secondary specialized and higher musical educational institutions.
"South Ossetia will be represented at the festival by a creative delegation headed by the People's Teacher of the Republic, director of the Felix Alborov Tskhinval Music College Jeannette Alborova: the orchestra of Russian folk instruments of the College under the direction of the people's teacher of the Republic Tina Kumaritova and a student of the department of folk instruments Alana Tskhovrebova (class of the teacher -Honored Artist of the RSO Agunda Kudzieva)," the statement of the the press service reads .
Concerts, master classes, creative meetings of the leading masters of the performing arts of Russia, excursions to museums and attractions of the Kabardino-Balkaria Republic will be held within the framework of the festival. The colorful opening and closing ceremony of the festival will be held in the great hall of the North Caucasus State Institute of Arts.
