Minister of Foreign Affairs of South Ossetia Akhsar Dzhioev attended the event marking the 79th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Nicaragua and Russia.
The celebration took place on December 13 in Moscow.
Within the framework of the event, the Minister met with the Adviser to the President of the Republic of Nicaragua on Investment, Trade and International Cooperation, Laureano Ortega Murillo," the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of South Ossetia reports.
Dzhioev expressed greetings to the Nicaraguan people on behalf of President of South Ossetia Alan Gagloev and noted the importance of continuing bilateral contacts.
