South Ossetia strongly condemns the terrorist attack in Donetsk - Foreign Ministry

Minister of Foreign Affairs of South Ossetia, Akhsar Dzhioev, sent a note of condolences to Russian Ambassador to the Republic, Marat Kulakhmetov, in connection with the terrorist attack in Donetsk.

The text of the statement was published on the official website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

“It was with a feeling of deep sorrow that I received the news of the terrorist act in Donetsk, where, as a result of the barbaric attack by the armed formations of the Kyiv regime on civilian infrastructure, there were numerous casualties among the civilian population,” the note of condolence reads.

According to Dzhioev, South Ossetia, which has repeatedly been subjected to acts of terror by Georgia, strongly condemns this crime.

“We are confident that the organizers and perpetrators of this inhuman act will suffer the deserved punishment,” he noted.

It should be reminded, that the Ukrainian troops fired at the market in the Kirov district of Donetsk. According to the latest data, 25 people became victims of the artillery strike. Another 25 were injured, 18 of them were hospitalized.
