Minister of Foreign Affairs of South Ossetia, Akhsar Dzhioev, received the head of the representative office of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in the Republic, Dragoslav Blazhevich, and the ICRC envoy for missing persons in the Caucasus, Agnes Cota, the press service of the Foreign Ministry reports.
“During the conversation, issues related to the activities of the ICRC office in South Ossetia, including the search for missing persons, were discussed,” the statement of the the press service reads.
The meeting was attended by First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Andrei Tskhovrebov, Presidential Commissioner for Human Rights Inal Tasoev, Advisor to Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergei Tadtaev, Head of the Department of Foreign Policy Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Taimuraz Dzhidzhoev. The ICRC was represented by Marina Tedety, a public relations officer.
